Moscow So-Kyokushin Karate Open Cup
On May 15, in Moscow, we held the “Moscow So-Kyokushin Karate Open Cup” competition.
There were over 200 participants in the tournament!
The athletes competed in two disciplines, kata and kumite.

Open tournaments in Moscow
On May 16, a large united Tournament was held in Moscow. 9 All-Russia Federations and 860 participants.
So-Kyokushin Russia presented a united team from dojos: Shihan Gharibyan, Shihan Aghajanyan, Shihan Kuznetsov, Shihan Geranin, Sensei Petrasyan (Abkhazia), Sensei Solodovnikov (Crimea).
Also 12 persons (black and brown belts) from our dojos took part in refereeing.
We were good on the Tournament! So-Kyokushin Russia got 3-nd team place!
Belt Test held at All Raja’s Martial Arts SO-Kyokushin Karate Branches
On Wednesday March 24th, 2021. belt test was held at Raja’s Martial Arts So-Kyokushin.for those who tested and passed the test Certificates and belts will be awarded very Soon. We congratulate all participants.
Commonwealth Cup(moscow)
On February 27, Moscow hosted a large tournament “Commonwealth Cup” in kumite, in which many organizations representing Kyokushin Karate in Russia took part.
Our team represented IKO World So-Kyokushin with honor.

Iran Sokyokushin going to held the 1st Iran Sokyokushin Karate open Tournament on 28th May 2021 in Iran, Yazd city.
This Tournament will be managed by Shihan Bahreman, and All Iran Champions will participate in this tournament.
Also, the winners will be rewarded precious prizes.

SK (So-Kyokushin) Martial Arts And Fitness Dojo, DHA-II, Islamabad organized a plantation drive in lieu of spring and International Forest Day. The So-Kyokushin’s students and residents of DHA-II and nearby communities participated in planting held at Downtown GIGA.

Report from The Polish Open “The Kyokushin Challenge 2021”
On 12/12/2020, Husaria Dojo organized the 10th edition of the Polish Open Kyokushin Karate “Kyokushin Challenge 2020” tournament. This year, due to the epidemic situation in the country and the region, the Club Board decided to organize the tournament online and only in technical categories. This innovative solution entailed a huge logistical challenge, both for Husaria as the organizer, but also for all participants. Everyone did a great job, making this tournament another unique event. Over 202 players signed up for the tournament. The very good organizational level, great atmosphere and high skils level of the players made the tournament a very interesting sporting event. The Szczecin Husaria, as the tournament organizer, decided to resign from the team’s first place. As a result of the above-mentioned decision of the organizer and the sports competition, the team classification was won by the team of Koszalin (1st place), ahead of team of Kołobrzeg (2nd place) and team of Zielona Góra Ochla (3rd place). We congratulate all competitors on their great fighting spirit and great courage. See you at the 11th edition of the Polish Open “Kyokushin Challenge 2021” which will be held on October 16, 2021 in Szczecin, Poland. We believe that next year we will play the tournament safely in the traditional formula.

Russian So-Kyokushin. OFSOO “Russian National Karate Kyokushin Kaikan Federation” Autumn Camp 2020. On November 1-8, an autumn camp was held, where the guys were able to consolidate their knowledge and learn a lot! The camp was at a very good level! All participants were very satisfied. At the end of the camp, all participants were presented with gifts!

This event was held under my leadership, the organizers of these competitions were We, i.e.
So- Kyokushin Krasnoyarsk Regional Union of public associations of martial arts “KYOKUSHIN KAIKAN KARATE – DO”. Everything went under my control with full guidance. Here is a photo and video report. At these competitions I was not only the Chief Judge, but also the referee on the tatami. The competition was held without spectators.
Annual activity report in Russia(Shihan Gevork Garibyan)
In the spring of 2020, we held a traditional training camp with Kyu and Dan Test. Due to limitations, we had to carry out attestations in several streams. This practice has shown itself positively. In the summer of 2020, Shihan Gharibyan and Shihan Geranin went to the Republic of Abkhazia to Sensei Petrosyan, where the training camp and Kyu test were also held.
We signed a cooperation agreement with the All-Russian Alliance “Open Kyokushin”. The Alliance includes 9 All-Russian Federations developing Kyokushin Karate. We considered such cooperation to be promising for the development of the sports component of our Organization.
On October 18 our Organization took part in the «30 fights Marathon”, which was held by the All-Russian Alliance “Open Kyokushin”. Our Organization represented 64 participants. All participants passed this test successfully.
On November 14, the All-Russian Alliance “Open Kyokushin” held the first united tournament “Moscow Cup”.
There were 24 participants from our Organization in different categories.
A total of 320 fighters in 40 categories (children / youths / juniors / adults / veterans) from five different Organizations.
The competition was very high! The So-Kyokushin direction proved to be good.

・girls 10-11 years less 35 kg 3 place
・juniors 14-15 years less 55 kg 2 place and 3 place

・juniors (girls) 14-15 years less 55 kg 3 place
・Adults (men) 18+ year old 75+ kg 3 place
・veteran division 35+ year old less 75 kg 1 place, 2 place, 3 place (podium is ours!)
・veteran division 35+ year old less 90 kg 1 place and 2 place
We plan to hold the winter training camp and Kyu test in 2 stages.
The first stage is from 20 to 22 November, the second stage is from 27 to 29 November. We will send additional reports. We inform Honbu that the procedure for state goverment registration of the All-Russian So-Kyokushin Karate Organization is being completed. We hope to receive registration documents before the new year, and we will inform you about this additionally.
