TOURNAMENT CHILDREN FIRST EXPERIENCES (Italy)
February 2, 2015 was held in Casarano (Le) Italy a karate tournament kyokushinkai called
“TOURNAMENT CHILDREN FIRST EXPERIENCES”
the tournament was attended by the dojo Parabita, San Giorgio Jonico, Casarano, Sannicola, Collepasso, Cutrofiano, Taurisano with the presence
of about 70 participants from age 6 to 12 years.
7. Th Winter kumite camp Norway
16-18 of January Tromsø karate kyokushinkai held a kumite camp.
About 50 students’ children and grown-ups attended this weekend. All together there were students from 4 different dojos.
As many times before Senpai Steffen Haukedalen was the main instructor. He gave good instructions with a focus on hitting point and the importance of choosing you’re technics according to the distance to your opponents.
We did many different practical exercises two and two and as usual there were also little stamina at the end of every class.
After training Saturday evening we had a social meeting with dinner together, food tasted well after a hard day of training.
Sunday we had tournament training, student could try fighting in tournament like situation with referee and audients.
We believe a camp like this helps us to increase the interest for fighting and taking part in tournaments. Next year we are ready again.

At the 13th of December we have finished our open So-kyokushin karate cup in
Ilichevsk city, , Odessa region, Ukraine. We had about 150 karateka from
many clubs of Odessa city, Ilichevsk, Nikolaev, Yuzhnoukrainsk and others.
Thanks for all who helped to make this tournament goes successfully and to
all kids that have participated. This tournament was held by the Sokyokushin
Ukraine.

“The Martial Arts are the set of technical, physical condition, will power and spirituality.
These four components are orchestrated in a wise and perfected Kyokushinkai in a long journey of constant training and challenging.
But what is the limit of the body than the mind and spirit? As the laws of physics and matter involved in the technique?
We’ll find out in a workout devoted to “physical kyokushin” where every gesture will pass the scrutiny of the scientific lens in order to confirm or discredit the effectiveness.

New branch in India (Jharkhand State branch)
We have added a new branch in India, it is Jharkhand State branch. This is first time World So-Kyokushin at Jharkhand State. We have added 2 new dojo under Md. Azhar at Jharkhand State. He joined with us or IKO World So-Kyokushin India on 18th December 2014. He is also selected for Jharkhand State Branch Chief. He is Sho-Dan. Sensei Mahadeb Bramha appointed him for a branch chief post of Jharkhand State.

“DKO got a good start to the new year …”
… when more than 60 Students and Instructors were gathered for the years first training at DKO Honbu.
Shihan Budtz started by wishing a happy new year and concluded that DKO is in great prosperity, and that cooperation between the Dojos is good and positive.
Shihan also mentioned that it had been very encouraging to see that more senior students have returned over the past year, and he hopes that this will be a continuing trend in the new year.
As Branch Chief of Sosai Oyama, Shihan reminded that we as true Kyokushin practitioners are required to develop and shape Kyokushin further into the future. “We are Kyokushin”

The Cup of the Republic of Crimea in So-Kyokushin karate(Ukraine)
23 November in Simeiz was the Cup of the Republic of Crimea in So-Kyokushin karate, the tournament was attended by 135 people from Yalta, Sevastopol, Yalta, Simeiz, Alupka, Foros, Massandra, Partenit, Rebachie, Evpatoria.

Congratulations to all the winners, thank you for your help in conducting the tournament Kulikov Olga Director of the club “Simeiz”, I want to acknowledge the good work of the judicial staff and Rancev Sergei which is perfectly made his debut as a referee on the Mat, OSU!
Scandinavian meeting(Denmark)
“In connection with Scandinavian Friendly Match in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Denmark, held an informal meeting on cooperation in So Kyokushin Scandinavia.
Shihan Budtz was invited to Finland in April 2015 and it was also agreed to hold more activities together in the future.
A KATA course was arrange with 1998 KATA World Championship 2. place and first female Shihan in the history of Kyokushin Karate, Shihan Christa Koldin 5. Dan.
Unfortunately, Sweden did not attend, but we hope for some contact in the new year.

Danish So Kyokushin Championship and Scandinavian Friendly Match 2014
” DKO “Danish So Kyokushin Karate Championship” and “Scandinavian Friendly Match” in KATA and KUMITE was held 9. of November 2014.
With participants and officials from Denmark, Norway and Finland, and sold-out tickets, about 400 people had a good and exciting day with many good fights and KATA.
Danish Karate Organisation would like to thank all students, officials and spectators.
